The SPMCR Premodern For The Children Showdown was an annual charity event held on December 7, 2025 at the AC Hotel San José Airport, Belén. A special tournament where the Costa Rican Premodern community came together for a good cause.
The tournament was free to play with open registration, with capacity for 40 players. 34 players enrolled and competed across 6 Swiss rounds followed by a single-elimination Top 8. The format was Premodern, tabletop tournament type.
Premodern For The Children is an annual tradition that combines the passion for the format with the solidarity spirit of the Costa Rican community.
